MonkuNotes ("App", "Service", "we", "our", "us") is a mobile application developed and operated by Invimatic Technologies Private Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when users access or use the App. By using the Service, users agree to the practices described in this Policy.
2. Information we collect
We collect limited information necessary to provide the Service.
2.1 Account information
Users register using their email address and One-Time Password (OTP) authentication. We do not collect or store passwords.
2.2 Audio recordings
Users may record audio within the App. Recordings may be stored locally on the user's device or uploaded to the user's personal cloud storage such as OneDrive or Google Drive. We do not permanently store user recordings on our servers unless required for temporary processing.
2.3 Transcription and AI processing
When users provide their own AI API key, audio data may be processed through third-party AI service providers for transcription, summary generation, action item extraction, and contextual AI chat. Processing occurs using the user-provided AI key. We do not use user data for training AI models.
2.4 AI chat feature
The AI Chat feature processes transcript content using the user-provided AI key to generate contextual responses. Chat content is not retained unless explicitly saved by the user.
3. Data storage
Recordings and transcripts may be stored locally on the user's device or within user-controlled third-party cloud storage services. These services are governed by their own privacy policies.
4. Data retention
We retain account email information for as long as the account remains active. Users may delete recordings, transcripts, and related content at any time. Upon account deletion, associated account information will be removed within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. Data may only be shared with third-party AI service providers when processing is initiated using the user's API key, or when required by applicable law.
6. Security
We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards including secure authentication mechanisms and encrypted communications. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
7. User rights
Depending on jurisdiction, users may have rights to access, correct, or delete their personal information. Requests may be submitted to the official support contact provided by the Company.
8. Children's privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
9. International use
The Service may be accessed globally. By using the App, users consent to cross-border processing of information where necessary to provide the Service.
